How do you describe yourself?

Posted on Mar 20th, 2009 by Sylvia : loving Spirit Sylvia
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 20, 2009:

young in face - old in heart and soul.

Whimsical, impish, discerning, intense

Verbally articulate - intuitively mute and tongue tangled

multi-faceted

scatter-brained and yet analytically programmed

creative and probing

Hi, Meenakshi - when I attempt to verbalize intuition - I often feel like I’m leaping a great divide between intuitive flow and the more contained packages of words.

Great information Sylvia, could that intuition, that speaks not, be discernment?
Sometimes the loudest statements are mute, for good reason.

Hi, Lars - *thanks* for this link - I love the Tao and continue to find meditating on various chapters spiritually renewing.  I also collect references great sites like that one in my quest for better interfaith sacred text resources.

Interesting question about the relationship between intuition and discernment.  Certainly I open my 3rd eye when I'm sorting through various layers and dimensions in a situation.  I tend to find that process more helpful with articulating intuition rather than less though.

I would agree that sometimes the loudest (and would add most profound) statements are mute.  I think of silent prayer vigils in efforts to foster more compassion and respect in church communities for lgbtq people.

peace and blessings -
